My passion for dance was discovered at the age of four, when my mother first noticed my talent while we were living as refugees in Burundi. She nurtured my love for traditional dance, and after returning to Rwanda, I began performing in church.
In 1998, I joined my first dance troupe, Mpore. A year later, I became a member of Abatanga Mpundu, which gave me the opportunity to represent Rwanda at international festivals, including one in France. In 2000, I was selected to join the national dance troupe as one of the leading female performers. This role opened many doors for me to travel and showcase Rwandan culture at major events, both nationally and internationally, a highlight being my performance during Queen Elizabethโs coronation celebrations.
In 2002, I joined another prominent troupe, Imena. In 2005, with the strong support of my mother, we founded our own family dance troupe, Amarebe, where all my siblings performed together.
In 2015, I moved to the United States to further my education. Driven by my deep commitment to Rwandan cultural heritage, I established a dance troupe called Irebe in Atlanta, Georgia.
Today, I am actively involved in managing and supporting the operations of Ibihame byโImana, a well-respected cultural troupe based in Rwanda.
More than just dance, I bring the soul of Rwandan culture to every stage, blending storytelling, tradition, and heartfelt connection.
I bring Rwandan tradition to life, honoring its heritage, values, and grace through every movement.
I craft each performance to suit any occasion, from weddings to festivals, corporate events to global stages.
I share the meaning behind Rwandan dance through workshops that educate and inspire.
Each project reflects my commitment to cultural excellence and creative collaboration. From stage performances to cultural workshops, Iโve had the honor of sharing Rwandan tradition across diverse platforms.
